Out-Of-Network (OON) Benefits
Some insurers allow you to submit claims yourself and will then reimburse you, often through something called a “superbill”. Check with your insurer to see if this is an option. I will guide you through the process-it’s simpler than it looks.
Insurance is complicated! The best way to answer a coverage question is to contact your insurer directly. Usually there is a number on the back of your card that you can call. More information and a (non-exhaustive) list of in-network providers is usually available on their website as well. For resources on navigating insurance, check out my resources page.
